Milo - things that happen at day [2013]

"I don't make promises I can't keep,

One of the first releases of 2013 that I've listened to. Milo released two EPs, this is the first one. I was initially turned off by the weird nerd "namedropping" that was prevalent in all the tracks but I guess that's kind of his think and he makes it work.
I really enjoy the beats on this EP, the underlying beats are basic but layered with different effects and vocal additions make them quite catchy. The beats are restrained and not overpowering, just like Milo's rapping style and it really makes it an enjoyable listen. Milo;s restrained voice works well with his cheesy subject matter, especially on folk-metaphysics, all those puns with philosophical works. [6.5/10]
